Replica Golf Club vs. Authentic Golf Club
This is about the differences between replica golf clubs and authentic golf clubs. There are alot of sellers out there right now marketing golf clubs which are purchased from China. These golf clubs are very similar to the authentic clubs sold by major brand name companies. To the average golfer these clubs differences are not noticed. This blog is intended for for those of you who do not know the differences and are looking for information on how to tell if you have purchased a knock off golf club. The first things to look for are:
1. If you have purchased a Driver start by checking the hosel where the shaft and club head meet. There you will see a serial number stamped to it. You can contact the golf company directly to see if it is a authentic serial number.
2. Check the head of the club for areas that are hand painted
3. If you have purchased a complete set or an iron set, check the head on the 5 or 7 iron for a serial number stamp on it. Fake versions of clubs have no serial number stamps on them.
